I don’t know about you, but I don’t like surprises when it comes to money. That’s why I offer very clear quotes, in writing (via email).
If you have a different type of ceremony (e.g. a baby naming ceremony) I am happy to discuss your requirements and I will email you a firm quote.
MY WEDDING PACKAGES

SIMPLE ‘N’ SWEET
Weekends and Public Holidays(Monday – Friday)

- This type of ceremony is a bit more personal than getting married at a registry office and would suit couples thinking of eloping or being married during the week with a small gathering.
- An obligation free meeting to discuss what you would like for your ceremony

DREAM DAY
Any day of the week- You want something special, but still not keen on a huge ceremony with all the bells and whistles – something smaller with less fuss is more like you, still capturing the essence of your love for one another.

EXTRAVAGANZA
Any day of the week- I would love to create your bespoke ceremony, creating a beautiful love story that portrays your journey together, capturing the essence of your love for one another, to share with your loved ones and friends.
- An obligation free meeting to discuss what you would like foryour ceremony

RENEWAL OF VOWS
Any day of the week- You have been through so much in your life journey as a married couple (including joys, blessings and challenges).
- This milestone anniversary deserves a big celebration! A renewal of vows ceremony is a completely personalised reflection on your relationship and journey as a couple, reaffirming your commitment to each other and including your hopes and dreams for the future.
- Includes all the aspects of an Extravaganza ceremony without the legal aspects.

secure your date
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
To secure my services for your ceremony time and date, I require a non-refundable booking fee of $200. The balance will be payable 30 days prior to your ceremony. Any tentative hold I make in my diary will lapse if the booking fee is not received within seven days. Cancellation of your ceremony within 30 days – the full fee is still payable. Cancellation more than 30 days of your ceremony and your fee will be refunded, less the non-refundable booking fee.

Extra charges may apply for:
- Parking costs
- Return journey by car from my home to the place of marriage where the mileage exceeds the package inclusion ($1.50 per km)
- In the unusual event that it is necessary to correspond with the Department of Immigration or an overseas consulate (for example)
- Conducting a wedding ceremony on an island not connected to the mainland by bridge – airfares, ferry charges, accommodation etc.
- Special costume or theme
- Rehearsal at the wedding venue (included in the Extravaganza package)
- Ceremonies involving unconventional time, place or risk
- Provision of witnesses
- Other “out of the ordinary” expenses

How much does a marriage celebrant cost in Brisbane?
Well, how long is a piece of string? The truth is that celebrant fees and priest/religious wedding costs can vary quite a bit. The person preparing and conducting the ceremony has discretion to set their fees as they see fit.
I have set my fees based on my experience, time and knowledge.
Can a marriage celebrant certify other documents?
No. You need a Justice of the Peace for that. Luckily, I am one of those brilliant people too. And yes, if you need something certified just bring it (along with the relevant original copies) to one of our meetings and I will do it there and then, no worries at all.
Will you bring a PA system?
Yes, you don’t need to worry about that, I have my own. I am a confident public speaker and if you need help with a few tips I’m happy to guide you through. The PA system is included in the Dream Day and Extravaganza packages above.
What happens if you get sick on the big day?
In the unlikely event that life serves me up some kind of unexpected surprise and I am not able to make it to your event there is no need to worry – my very close friend is also an Authorised Marriage Celebrant and will be able to step in should this kind of unfortunate situation arise. It has never happened yet, but it’s always good to have a safety net plan in place should we need it.
